Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board (MCCB) of LGU-Kalamansig Convenes

To facilitate smooth and efficient conduct of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) rollout in Sultan Kudarat Province, PSA-Sultan Kudarat led the convening of Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board (MCCB) of LGU-Kalamansig on January 10, 2024 at the Multi-Purpose Building, Municipal Hall Compound, Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.

The Honorable Municipal Mayor, Hon. Joaquin T. Concha designated Municipal Administrator Gerardo C. Dela Cruz to preside the meeting. The meeting was attended by 19 heads/representatives from the various agencies/offices in the municipality. The activity was also witnessed by the Barangay Chairpersons/representatives of the municipality.

During her presentation, CSS Herlita G. Caraan emphasized the importance and objectives of the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS).

The CSS also said that the CBMS could generate registries of target beneficiaries as an aid to more focused delivery of local government interventions.
Moreover, the CBMS's overarching goal is to uplift the life of the Filipinos particularly by reducing poverty incidences through informed decision-making at the local level.
